Siomay. Siomay (also Somay), is an Indonesian steamed fish dumpling with vegetables served in peanut sauce. It is derived from Chinese Shumai. It is considered a light meal that is a type of Chinese Dim Sum, but is cone shaped.

Bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan Siomay
- Siapkan pare, potong, bersihkan isinya, rendam selama dua jam dengan air garam, gula, dan cuka (untuk mengurangi rasa pahit) sebanyak 3 buah.
- Siapkan ikan tengiri, blender sebanyak 150 gram.
- Olah udang, blender sebanyak 100 gram.
- Bunda dapat Siapkan daun bawang, iris halus sebanyak 3 batang.
- Bunda dapat Siapkan wortel, kupas, parut sebanyak 2 buah.
- Olah bawang merah, goreng (utuhkan) sebanyak 4 butir.
- Olah bawang putih, goreng (utuhkan) sebanyak 4 siung.
- Olah garam sebanyak secukupnya.
- Siapkan gula sebanyak sedikit.
- Olah merica sebanyak sedikit.
- Siapkan penyedap (sesuai selera) sebanyak sedikit.
- Bunda dapat Siapkan telur sebanyak 1 butir.
- Olah tepung tapioka sebanyak 2 sdm.

Langkah-langkah Untuk Membuat Siomay
- Haluskan bawang yang telah digoreng setengah matang, campur garam, gula, merica, penyedap, aduk.
- Campur bumbu (1) dengan ikan tengiri dan udang yang sudah dihaluskan, masukkan daun bawang, wortel, telur, dan tepung, aduk hingga tercampur rata.
- Masukkan adonan (2) ke dalam lubang pare, kukus hingga matang.
